Arm span r/t height

'The arm span length related to height.'

How was the data collection done?

-We went around to take measurements of teenagers.

How did you gather the samples? (Eg measure from where to where?)

-For the arm span, we measure one point of the finger to the other.

-For the Height, we measure from the top of the head to the heel of the feet.

What did you use to measure?

-We used the measuring tape to measure the arm span and the height.

'Analysis of data'

Statistical test chosen:

Pearson's R

Scatter plot:

To find out how strong is the relationship between the arm span and the height.

This is the scatter plot for the arm span and the height of respondents.

The table shows Pearson's R is 0.623, P less than 0.05.

The Pearson's R value falls under 0.6-0.8 which is equals to strong relationship.

The P is less than 0.05 thus we reject the null hypothesis.

Therefore, there is a relationship between the arm span and the height.
